e AED_0916 is a project born in Berlin in the winter of 2018 W as an experimental project that has as its fundamental object an interest in audio technology in all its possible analogue and digital declinations. RT The creative process is centered around a hacking of the machine - a use of the instrumentation that was not envisaged by who conceived and/or built the machine itself. It is a creative entity with no specific identity. XTThe machines and their technologies become the artists of the project. I Colori della Neve is the first published work by AED_0916 LPW made and edited over the winter of 2017 in two recording sessions. All audio material in the work was obtained from a NEVE 88RS mixing deck using 4 different internal signal flow routing configurations within the deck, one for each track. Nai Only a Korg MS2000B ld and a Shermann Filterbank 2 were used as additional elements. It is therefore a unique landscape, observed from four different perspectives. lB The fundamental and dominant element is the snow, thus an abstract landscape completely covered in snow. VF The sky is gray, dark, heavy but calm, with a very dim light, typical of northern winters. The colors that interrupt this continuous expanse of white are those of a group of children who, far away from the observation point, NJ play in the snow and chase each other, giving the scene a distant and imperceptible vitality, movement and contrasting color with the background. NDFGAs the title suggests, the inspiration for this piece revolves around the central idea of aspiring to something unrealistic and the consequences that involve. KIJOF Attempting to fly naturally entails a risk of falling, and this fascination towards instability is a powerful source of inspiration XT for the trio. Attempt To Fly Q was recorded during a series of rehearsals in preparation to a live show using analog synths and effects. No pre-recorded material or DAW WY went into the improvisational process of composition, which was naturally guided by the synergy and understanding between the three artists. fTracklistg

The release S aims at evoking the feelings and atmospheres of a cold reverie. EFVF A deep insightful immersion that detaches oneself from the external, physical reality, V enhancing an exploration towards consciousness in the moments that follow a traumatic state. YUG Side A Q (1 to 6) These fragments represent the different stages of progressive isolation and self destruction. Similarly to cases of Hikikomori or Blue Whale, here the individual is no longer able to distinguish between his inner awareness and the reality of the outside world, becoming a prisoner of himself. Side B F (residui) is a large mosaic made up of all the remaining particles of consciousness. JKWS The trauma of isolation and self destruction is gone and the individual tries to recreate his identity by putting together all the broken pieces of the conscious self and memories. HKTHNF The result of this reconstruction is a chaotic and neurotic internal landscape, entirely built on residues. dTracklistf

Soliloqvivm is the Latin word for “soliloquy”,aAM the dialogue with oneself that often explores every nook and cranny of our personality. LKJ This may end in a quite rough path towards the knowledge of our deepest self. Q While recording, the quartet transcends the verbal communication in favor of the elusive and ever evolving language of improvised music making, WE giving birth to an unspoken bound that manifests itself in a dynamical musical journey. The aim of this release is to investigate being humans in a dimension of pure N harmony in relationship both with other LChumans and oneself. A-side: EXtent explores the relationship between humans and how they interact and immediately influence their social sphere KVM a synthscape immersed in field recordings are the main drive on this side.
