DNSEP (Graphic design)
A system of {poly}cultures, an installation between hydroponic culture system and information booth; a metaphorical hybridization. Through a polymorphic {graphic design} practice, with a care given to the space{s}, this project mixes culture of an ecosystem and culture in the poetic sense of the term, «to cultivate one’s thoughts».
This installation addresses the links between ecology and decolonization; diasporic circulations and circularities; the uprooting of bodies (human, living) and plants (non-human, living).
Despite the transhipments, these different organisms demonstrate the same form of resilience. The structure is a fragile ensemble, a collection of different types of objects; recycled items, factory materials, PVC, mortar, chains, books, editions and others are in tension, dialoguing, sometimes in disagreement, sometimes in harmony.
They coexist.
