Rooted in the tradition of conceptual arts, Thomas’ artistic practice is multifaceted and multimedia. Enriched by readings, encounters, and personal experiences, his work ranges from painting to sound and sculptural installations, seeking to create hybridizations between arts, sciences, and even spiritualities.
Through his research, he explores how sounds interact with external spaces, such as architecture, and with the internal spaces of our bodies. Inspired by the concept of Deep Listening, he examines sound as an agent of change of states of mind, arousing mind-altering experiences. His practice allows him to create vibrations that question perception and open possible sacred dimensions.
His work questions the margins and boundaries between the universes we cross. He strives to map perceptions while practicing the art of letting go. Through this tension between scientist and shaman, he births hybrid and complex forms.
